The Cottage at Wattles’ Inn is nestled in the Blue Mountains of the Catskills, right in the heart of Schoharie County. Surrounded by rolling fields, quiet country roads, and the gentle rhythm of farm life, it offers guests a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home.

Located on a working farm,Wattles’ Produce and Broome Animal Sanctuary, the Cottage gives visitors a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of rural living while staying just steps away from the rescued residents who call BAS home.

Inside, the Cottage offers approximately 1,000 sq ft of newly renovated space, including two comfortable bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower (no tub). The beautiful self‑serve kitchen opens into a warm dining and living area, complete with a smart TV for unwinding at the end of the day. WiFi is available throughout the home.

For long‑term guests, a washer and dryer are provided so you can pack light and settle in with ease.

Step outside onto the covered front porch and take in the peaceful sounds of the Schoharie Valley. birds calling, leaves rustling, and the soft hum of the countryside. Spend a slow morning with coffee, or lounge the afternoon away with a good book.

Guests are welcome to schedule a tour of Broome Animal Sanctuary during their stay to meet some of the animals who make this place so special.
